My gray hair is very difficult to cover and very coarse and dry. Nothing was working and after reading about the damage peroxide does to the inside of the hair shaft I knew I couldn't continue to use permanent hair color. I was even choking down molasses because some say it brings the color back. I was about to give up and somehow one day I found Ekoeh online and ordered the mahogany shade. It covered the gray like nothing else ever had and made my hair soft. It was really red so I ordered golden brown to tone the red down some. My husband and I both like it very much and in the process I discovered that I really like red on me. Feed your hair!
I spent half a year going to dermatology. After 6 months we found out it was the hair dyes with ppd that was causing me to burn. I was bummed and thought thats it, I cant color my hair anymore. The reactions I get from normal hair dyes feels like acid on my skin and scalp. I burn immediately. I tried a bunch of organic hair dyes and each burned my skin and scalp. Till I found Ekoeh Brazil. Its the only one that works for me. I no longer burn, my hair georgeous and thick. It works for me. My 2 cents.
Color was what I wanted. I put it on for the first time. I dont know how long it will last before my roots start to show. I put it only on my roots and there was no demarcation line between my roots and the rest of my hair.
Good value, mahogany should be a bit darker than the coppery red.
