I used to use the Espresso color, which seems to have been discontinued. I recently tried the dark brown. While I preferred the Espresso, Dark Brown is nice as well. Initially, I left this product on for 45 minutes. When I rinsed my hair, my greys were a weird golden/coppery color. I tried leaving it on longer and got really nice, natural looking results. My natural hair color is very dark brown with about 20 \% grey. This is one of the few products that does not bother my sensitive scalp.
Best product I�ve used! No more rash or burning skin. I don�t understand why the rating is low. Whoever has problems with beard dye this is the solution. This product is going to bring back those times when your hair wasn�t gray. This product should be #1. I used henna cream from other brand and it was horrible because all the paint would come out in the shower. But this product Does Not! You can even shampoo and it will stay__keep on mind that it leaves some staying but in the shower it will come out and whatever is left put some oil or skin lotion and wipe it out. How to apply: shampoo your hair. Remove all water with a towel and don�t let it dry. Use a tooth brush to apply it then you cover it with a piece of plastic and leave it for an hr or more. You can use the gray tape which is better. Once it�s done throw it away!
I have been using henna to color my hair, but I wanted a creme so it would be faster and easier to apply as a mom, since I don't have a lot of time for myself. This works so well! I have dark brown hair with a hint of red and I have also been graying badly since the stress of the pandemic. This works! I put it oren in the morning after washing my hair and before getting my kids up for remote school. Then I cover it with a shower cap and let it sit all day while my kids are at zoom school (about 6 hours). when I wash it out my hair is so soft and so natural looking; it's made me feel years younger! I was able to use the same bottle for about 5 applications.
Excellent grey coverage. I'm pretty shocked right now because the other semi-permanent brands I've used have done nothing for my grays. And I've developed a horrible allergy to permanent color. So I was certain to do a patch test to make sure I had no reaction. After a week, no reaction so I went ahead and applied. I left the color on my damp hair for 60 minutes, while covered with a plastic cap and sat under the dryer. Rinsed until clear. Instead of a conditioner and rinsing out, I used a leave-in conditioner. Hair was very soft, manageable and a nice shine. I'll update my review once I find out how long it lasts.
This is the best semi-permanent dye I have used so far!!
I have 50% greys & I use henna to color once a week. I was looking for something that can tone down the red of the henna. This was one of the very few brands that mentioned it was okay to use with henna treated hair!! I left the brown dye for about 2 hours & after rinsing, all the orangish/red color from henna is now light brown.
